Helen has worked in design since leaving Ravensbourne College of Art and Design in 1984 where she gained a BA (Hons) degree in 3-dimensional design.
“My work is influenced by everything that surrounds me; people, colour, texture, pattern or detail. It can even be something more subtle such as music, a mood or emotion.
I am an avid observer of people and enjoy getting to know new clients, which is particularly important when designing for weddings. By understanding exactly what sort of vision the bride has for her day, I can create a bespoke tiara for a romantic country wedding, or a cutting edge design for a sophisticated modern look.
I travel to the Far East to source my materials which allows me to select top-quality unique and individual items. I check each pearl and stone individually for cut, clarity, shape and lustre. “
Helen's intuitive sense of colour allows her to design that perfect piece of jewellery that also complements skin tone, and the English complexion in particular.
Helen has recently taken up yoga to balance living with two teenagers, five cats, two rabbits and numerous chickens!
